• Have some movement so the preview doesn’t look frozen.
• Keep the background simple and legible.

Timing matters more than people admit

Even perfect formatting fails if you stream at the wrong times.

• Use consistent time slots for 2–3 weeks.
• Stream when your audience is actually online.
• Avoid desperate, random late-night streams.

Your opening hook decides who stays

Use a repeatable opener that resets every time new people join:

“If you see this in your feed, don’t scroll. I’m testing how long TikTok will push this LIVE if you stay. Tell me where you’re watching from.”

Don’t waste time asking “Can you hear me?” or “Is this thing working?”
